Shipping, Returns and Cancellation Policies

Delivery

Built to Order Furniture

Once you have placed your order on our website, your furniture will take approximately 6 - 8 weeks to build. "Quick Ship" upholstered items will take only 2 to 4 weeks. When your order is complete we will contact you to review shipping and delivery details.

In Stock Items

These will ship within 7 business days of ordering. If an item is out of stock or on back order we will let you know, and inform you of estimated shipping date.


Shipping Charges

All shipping charges are shown before checkout, with the exception of certain circumstances in which we will have to source specific shipping quotes due to order size or destination.

The shipping cost is for curb side delivery within major Canadian cities. Rural areas and white glove shipping is subject to change.


Cancellation Policy

Built to Order Furniture

Due to the variety of stains, sizes and configurations, all solid wood furniture pieces are built to order and will take approximately 6 - 8 weeks to build (excluding shipping time). Likewise, upholstered products are built in various sizes and fabric options. As such your order is considered to be a custom order. If you need to cancel your order within 24 hours, we will give you a complete 100% refund. Any cancellation between 24 hours and 14 days we will refund 50% of your payment. After 14 days unfortunately no cancellation is possible.

In Stock Items

In stock items may be cancelled within 24 hours. Cancellations must be done via email please address to: info@creativehome.ca


Damaged Product

We carefully inspect our furniture before it is packed and shipped. When your pieces arrive, please carefully look over the packaging while the shipper is present. If there is any damage to the packaging ensure that the shipper notes it, and take a photo of the damaged packaging.

If upon unpacking the furniture damage is noticed, please take a photo of the issue, include a contact phone number and email to: info@creativehome.ca. We will review the photos and at our discretion will either arrange for repairs in house or for a replacement to be sent. All damage claims must be made within 48 hours of receiving.


Furniture Returns

Built to Order Furniture

We take great care to have our built to order pieces made just for you. As such all Sales are Final.

Please ensure that you have carefully measured not only the area where the furniture is to be placed, but also that it will fit through whatever hallways, doorways, stairway or elevators are needed to access your space. We will not take back any built to order pieces.

In Stock Items

Please contact us within 48 hours at info@creativehome.ca to initiate the Return process. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded. Item must be in its original condition, and shipped in its original packaging within 10 business days of receiving. This includes both Defective and Buyer's Remorse. Buyer's Remorse however will incur a 20% restocking fee.


Shipping In Stock Return Items

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.


Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

We only replace instock items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@creativehome.ca and send your item to: Unit D, 1100 Lansdowne Drive Coquitlam British Columbia CA V3B 5E2.


Warranty

We warranty our built to order furniture for one year, pending certain conditions: namely that the pieces are being used for their express use and treated with love – please see Facts about Solid Wood Furniture.

Koncept lighting carries a warranty of between 1 to 5 years depending on the model.
